He'll leave and you won't be able to get the photo. You'll notice his arrival by his purple balloon. So make a campfire and wait for night, or wait patiently facing away. Don't just stare at it though, he won't appear if you keep a literal eye on it. Now, you must wait for night for Kilton to show up on the lake's left eye. Take this opportunity to paraglide to Zuna Kai Shrine, on the pillar that makes Skull Lake's right eye, if you haven't yet. ![]() Take the high ground northwest through North Akkala Foothill and the Akkala Wilds to make it to the cliff overseeing Skull Lake, and paraglide down. You can spot it on your map easily, too, because it looks just like its namesake: a skull. Skull Lake is conveniently just around the corner on horseback from East Akkala Stable if you haven't spoken to Kilton yet.
